Help Keep Doc Flying
It still requires an army to operate and support a B-29 Superfortress. From volun- teers to donors, mechanics to marketers, it is a joint effort.
To help ensure Doc’s operational status throughout this year and the future, a combined team of communicators from Spirit AeroSystems and advertising agency Sullivan Higdon Sink are working diligently to share Doc’s story and mission across the country. Here are ways you can help:
Donate directly – via the Doc’s Friends website: www.b-29doc.com (Paypal) or mail (P.O. Box 771089, Wichita, KS 67277)
Purchase Doc merchandise – shirts, hats, first flight memorabilia and more are available online via Yingling Aviation’s gift shop, www.aviatorsattic.com/Doc-s-Friends.
To stay up to date on all Doc news, subscribe online at b-29doc.com or follow Doc on Facebook (facebook.com/docsfriends) and Twitter (twitter.com/docsfriends).

Though raised around general aviation, she first considered it as a career while learning to fly in a Piper J-3 Cub in 2010. Coincidentally, she then spent two years at Piper Aircraft before joining SHS Wichita. SHS is a mar- keting and communications partner for Doc's Friends. Contact Rebecca at rebecca.jacobs@shscom.com.

“This year, we have a lot to learn about touring and operating the airplane economically,” said Murphy. “In the next few years, we will expand and start offering rides and more of a complete schedule. Certainly, one of the main
