Get job as part 141 sim instruc- tor (again).Sixty-seven years old. Hotel alarm clock set by previous (young) Fed-Ex crewmember goes off at 1:15 AM. Have heart attack and die...so you thought. Wake to realize you’re not dead, just old.Sixty-eight years old. Quit the flying business; sit on the porch swing for the rest of your days, looking skyward at every airplane noise.... longing to be up there.Moral of the Story?Perhaps now you’re not quite so disappointed that you didn’t get to fly an airliner or a fighter. Just as technical analysts may label a chartist’s research techniques as “windmills of the mind”, so is it true of this fate-forecasting-formula.
