Think about it: How much longer will we need TCAS II and TAWS with horribly expensive boxes and displays?As a side matter of interest, there is also a technology being developed that will allow you to scan a room full of people with your device, and it will display the phone numbers of the attendant cell phones. Once that is obtained, information such as name, address, social media information, etc., can be readily attained from other databases. Kinda scary, and something to think about.Technology has changed everything we do and how we do it. From cars to airplanes, the way we live and use the machines we need to carry out our daily lives is rapidly changing. However, technology needs a platform from which to operate, whether it is a car, airplane, or iPad.Perhaps the platform will shift from t•oday’s complexity to one of simplicity.
