Summary
While no firm price has been an- nounced for the Echelon, in com- parison with current competitor’s of- ferings, I would estimate a typically equipped jet would be in the $14 mil- lion range at current values. In 2028, when it is scheduled for production, I’ll take a guess at $17.5 million.
The HondaJet Echelon exemplifies Honda Aircraft’s dedication to innova- tion and excellence in aviation. With
its advanced design and impressive performance, the Echelon is poised to redefine the light jet category and set new industry standards.
With the ability to only use 3,300 feet for takeoff, fly a projected range of 2,625 nautical miles, and land in 2,550 feet, the Echelon doesn’t fill a niche–it creates it.
As we eagerly await its certification in 2028, one thing is clear: the sky’s the limit for Honda Aircraft.

Wish List for the Echelon
1. Larger Flight Deck Side Windows:
The prototype flight deck side windows are small, hindering the crew’s external view, both on the ground and in the air.
2. Dual-Zone Digital Temperature Control with Passenger Adjustment and Flight Deck Override
3. Flexible Interior Configurations:
A modular seating design, in addition to the three current options, would further enhance flexibility. An adaptable interior ensures that the Echelon meets diverse customer needs.
4. Accessible Baggage Loading:
With 120 cubic feet, there is ample room, how- ever accessing baggage in such a large volume can be difficult for the crew, both loading and unloading. If you have tried to load a heavy suit- case into the forward section of a vast compart- ment, you will understand.
5. Enhanced Cabin Connectivity:
High-speed Wi-Fi and advanced connectivity features are crucial for business travelers. The Echelon should offer seamless in-flight internet, allowing passengers to remain productive or entertained. Integrating wireless charging sta- tions and USB ports would further elevate the onboard experience. Most likely, the Echelon will have these features.
