CBS News 60 Minutes Producer Don Hewitt said the motto of that show was, “Tell me a story.”The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) owns a P-51C named“Tuskegee Airmen” with a dis- tinctive red tail, the defining sym- bol of the airplanes flown by the black fighter pilots of World War II. The airplane was restored and began flying to airshows in 2001. The Minnesota Wing of the CAF at KSGS airport in South St. Paul was restoring the Mustang and planned to outfit the airplane in the col- ors of the Tuskegee Airmen.
