As many Twin & Turbine readers know, NBAA’s annual convention provides an unparalleled opportunity for the people in the business aviation industry to network with peers from across the United States, and around the world. However, it is not always possible for these busy professionals to commit to a multi-day event.
That’s where NBAA’s Business Aviation Regional Forums come in.
These highly popular, single-day events offer the valuable opportunity for representatives from the business aviation community to participate in many of the activities that are staples of NBAA’s annual Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition, in locations closer to home.
Participants in NBAA’s Business Aviation Regional Forums benefit from many of the same exhibits, side-by-side static displays of aircraft, and education sessions offered at the annual convention, in a much handier format.
The events also offer the valuable opportunity for representatives from the business aviation community to meet with local officials and other leaders interested in learning more about the industry, and underscore the importance of a healthy and vibrant business aviation industry to local leaders in business and government.
in part through commentary from affected parties, as well as analysis of its data-driven justification, costs, benefits and other important criteria, Bolen said. “This bill will ensure that these important considerations are made before the proposed OSA requirement is allowed to take effect.” m
In 2014, editions of these popular forums will be held at airports in Florida, California and Texas. On January 29, 2014, Signature Flight Support will host a Business Aviation Regional Forum at Boca Raton Airport (BCT) in Boca Raton, FL. A second regional forum, co-hosted by Maguire Aviation and TWC Aviation, will be held at Van Nuys Airport (VNY) in Van Nuys, CA on June 26, with a third forum coming to Business Jet Center at Dallas Love Field (DAL) in Dallas, TX on September 18.
These three cities have been popular locations for past NBAA regional forums, offering participants attractive facilities, convenient lodging and other benefits. The scheduling and locations for these events also compliment the annual NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition (NBAA2014) to be held October 21-23, 2014 in Orlando, FL.
