introduced a new aviation headset that uses a new digital control technology that combines feedback and feed-forward adaptive noise reduction. The result is effective noise cancelling and greater pilot comfort.
Typical ANR headsets use an analog feedback filter to suppress wideband interference signals. However, they don’t always effectively filter out background noise and have a limited capacity for complex sounds. The HS 800 Digital uses a newly developed DANR (Digital Adaptive Noise Reduction) that uses feed-forward digital control that is highly precise in its ability to eliminate extraneous and fatigue-inducing noise.

In addition to the noise attenuation, wearing comfort is particularly important. The HS 800’s cushions are upholstered in soft leather and distribute pressure evenly. The head cushion protects the fontanel with its shape. At this particularly sensitive location, where the two skull halves meet, even low pressure can lead to short- term pain.
The HS 800 Digital is now available in three versions. In addition to the version with the two standard jack plugs, the company offers the HS 800 Digital Rotor with a spiral cable and jack plug for helicopters.
