Million Air’s Welcome
The centerpiece of this move will be the new Million Air facility, with 200,000 square feet of parking ramp, a 20,000-square-foot hangar and a 12,500-square-foot terminal area. But there’s more – much more. Because GPT is positioned to be an international port of entry from Latin America, a 3,600-square-foot customs area is integrally located within the building’s far south end. U.S. Customs was given extensive input into the planning of its offices; its two processing lines will be able to handle 30 passengers an hour, with overflow capability. Every amenity is provided in the terminal – conference rooms, flight department offices, crew rooms, flight planning and on-site catering.
Henriksen told us “I hate to be nickeled-and-dimed when I fly in to an FBO, so we intend to supply whatever our clients need, as a part of our service.”
