Voters Be Informed, Involved
The National Business Aviation and potential changes to national and local tax
Association offers a wide variety of
benefits and services to its Members. As the calendar ticks down to Election Day on November 6, a particularly beneficial resource is NBAA’s “Election 2012” web portal, which offers important information and tips to help voters stay informed about candidates’ stances on the issues affecting the industry, and how they can show their support.

Issues like the president’s proposed $100 per-flight user fee
policies are on the table. We want to make it easy for NBAA Members to interface with their candidates for elective office, determine where they stand on business aviation, and cast an informed vote.”
The Election 2012 web resource lays out a four-step process for learning about candidates running nationally and in each state, voicing the industry’s priorities with those candidates and making an informed decision in November:
Determine who is running for election. Business aviation has a presence in every state and congressional district. The Election 2012 resource offers biographical sketches of the candidates nationally and in each state, including those for President, governor, U.S. House and U.S. Senate.
Determine where the candidates stand on the issues. NBAA works continually to highlight the importance of business aviation all across America, and a number of policy makers have raised their hands in
